• Students can search online to find placements with authorised employers

• Teachers are able to authorise student placement requests for employers who are risk-assessed
• If an employer needs to be risk-assessed before a placement can be authorised, the system automatically requests the EBP to conduct a visit
• Teachers can track the progress and status of placements
• Database can be exported to MS Excel for use by schools
• Standardised documentation can be printed
• In-built messaging system between teachers and EBP staff

• Where an employer needs to be risk-assessed before a placement can be authorised, an audit visit is automatically logged
• Visit and placement status can be tracked throughout
• Employer auditing staff can update a hand-held computer which is integrated with the system
• EBP staff can monitor and track use of the system by schools
• In-built messaging system that will allow EBP staff to message schools directly
